Signs of Spring

So this last month I have been pretty busy with wedding photography, and now that I have joined the birding club trying to get aquainted to taking pictures of birds in flight, close up and trying to figure out the bird species.

It has been a while since I have posted....I have been very busy with family and wedding pictures.

I learned of the death of a colleague in Toronto recently. I was devestated about the news and it really bothered me that I did not have a chance to visit my old employment stomping ground before his passing.

This just proves that when God tells you it is your time...it's your time. If I had to write a letter to Mauro today this is what it would read.

Dear Mauro,

Today I was saddened about the news that you have gone to heaven. I really miss our conversations about photography, hockey or whatever was on our minds.

You always had a way to make things easy to understand. I really enjoyed the weekends were we went out for the day taking pictures and critiquing our pictures.

I know that my feet hurt after a full day of walking around Toronto getting all those pictures in...

I must tell you that I will miss very much.....please make sure that you keep and eye on me and my family...

More Pictures of Samuel's first Bday

Samuel's first birthday

This month we celebrated Samuel's first Birthday...what a celebration it was!! We rented a space at the local arena and invited 40 family members to celebrate his birthday in style.

Samuel had Nicholas, Leah to celebrate with him...they had a great time.

Samuel also decided that when he turned one that he would start walking and foget the days of crawling around the house....how fun is that...
