Audra and I spent the weekend in Syracuse for some R&R. We did some shopping and visited some of the sites in the area.
One of the places that we visited is the Salt Museum. Liverpool , NY that was a key area for producing salt from the salt brine in Lake Onondaga from 1862 - 1920 it employed more then 3000 people in its peak era in 1899. There were more then 30 companies producing salt for most of the USA.
